Okay, personal rambling here, but, I think Embodiment of Scarlet Devil boss music from the Touhou games is pretty similar to Sonic 3's Final Boss music.

I admit, they are not exactly the same, but I would like to believe that the Sonic theme came before Touhou, but I wouldn't know because I don't play Touhou. So...which inspired which! Comment, comment, comment and make me a happy shut-in!
